Hello Eaters!!! Years ago, in another life, 23-year-old me didn’t really cook. I’d grown up around it—I helped my mom and my grandma in the kitchen—but it wasn’t something I had picked up for myself yet. One night after work, I was flipping through channels and landed on a little show called Good Eats. It wasn’t like anything I’d seen before. It was cooking… but also science. Half recipe, half experiment. Mr Wizard meets Cooking Show. The host, Alton Brown, had this way of making food feel approachable—explainable—like something you could actually figure out if you just paid attention. And for whatever reason… that stuck. I started trying things. Cooking more. Paying attention to how and why things worked. What started as curiosity turned into something I genuinely loved. That’s where Hello Eaters came from.
